A former ‘Brothers for Life’ member will appear in court today charged with an outstanding warrant over two alleged break and enters following an investigation by Strike Force Raptor detectives.
As part of ongoing targeting and disruption of the illicit activities of criminal networks, police from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor, attended a hotel at Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, about 7.45pm on Friday 3 April 2020.
A 38-year-old man was arrested in the reception area and taken to Auburn Police Station, where he was charged with an outstanding warrant for aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence in company (steal greater than $60,000), aggravated enter dwelling in company intent to steal, destroy or damage property, larceny and goods suspected stolen in/on premises (motor vehicle).
The Merrylands man was also charged with resist officer in execution of duty and breach of bail.
Police will allege the man stole an Audi RS3 following a break and enter at a home at Parramatta in February this year.
It will be further alleged the man damaged a motor vehicle and stole parts from the car at a home at Ermington in March 2020.
The man, who is a former ‘Brothers for Life’ member, appeared at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday 4 April 2020, where he was formally refused bail to re-appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 11 June 2020).
