Another man has been charged after a fight in a carpark in Auburn last week.
About 10.10pm on Friday 5 June 2020, emergency services were called to the shared carpark of two fast-food restaurants on Parramatta Road following reports of a brawl.
Police were told a group of people in a black Toyota Corolla and four males in a blue Toyota Yaris began arguing before one vehicle reversed, pinning an 18-year-old man between the two vehicles.
He suffered serious injuries to his right leg and was driven from the scene in the Yaris before officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command stopped the vehicle on Dartbrook Road.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Westmead Hospital.
Two men, aged 18 and 19, and a youth aged 16, from the Yaris were arrested and taken to Auburn Police Station where they were charged with affray. They remain before the courts.
Following inquiries, an 18-year-old man was arrested at Auburn Police Station today (Wednesday 10 June 2020).
He was charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm – drive manner dangerous, fail to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm, and three counts of not give particulars.
Police will allege that the 18-year-old man, from Merrylands, was the driver of the black Toyota Corolla.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
