The Lake Street multi-storey car park will be free for drivers after 2pm on Saturday and all day Sunday.
The changes come into effect tomorrow (3 August) bringing fees at the car park in line with on-street parking charges.
Drivers will still need to take a ticket to enter and exit the car park.
Outside these hours, parking is $1.60 an hour capped at $10 a day.
