Three weeks of horseplay at Western Australia’s biggest annual racing festival, the TABtouch Masters, is set to go ahead this summer injecting millions of dollars into the WA economy.
Supported by the WA Government through Tourism WA, the TABtouch Masters forms part of the Perth Racing Ascot Racing Carnival. It is the world’s only single-track thoroughbred racing festival featuring a Group One race worth at least $1 million dollars on three consecutive Saturdays.
The events will be held between November 20 to December 4 2021 at Ascot Racecourse, including the Heineken 3-Railway Stakes, Crown Perth-Winterbottom Stakes, and the Drummond Golf-Kingston Town Classic.
For the first time, all three events will be broadcast on free-to-air television with Channel 10 Perth secured as a media partner thanks to funding from Racing and Wagering Western Australia.
More than 22,000 spectators are expected to turn out across the three-week festival, beginning November 20.
Visitors travelling to Perth from the regions can Play and Stay in Perth for the TABtouch Masters with packages starting from $210 per person, which includes raceday entry and two nights’ accommodation plus options to upgrade stays and add-on local tours and experiences.
