Police have launched a search and rescue operation after a 40-year-old woman was reporting missing from South Mission Beach yesterday, 3 November.
Holly Smith was last seen on Kennedy Esplanade at South Mission Beach around 5pm and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family are concerned for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
A search involving police, State Emergency Service personnel and POLAIR is continuing around the beach area, nearby walking tracks and the Lugger Bay area.
Holly is described as Caucasian, approximately 184cm tall with blonde hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a red top and green skirt.
Police are urging Holly or anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
