“We are pleased toonce again support our local community in meeting their health and fitness goals.

The Centre plays an important role in the health and wellbeing of our local community and provides a first class facility,” she added.

Centre Manager Tim Free said the team is looking forward to re-engaging with the local community and supporting them to meet their health and fitness goals, after the long period of isolation.

“We’ve taken potential risks into consideration as well as steps to ensure members are provided with a clean, safe and hygienic environment.

“We are continuing to work on the release of timetabling for the reintroduction of aquatic programs such as Aqua Aerobics, Swim Lessons and Squad Training and further advice will be provided as it is developed.

Public access to the pool will need to be booked in advance via our booking management system – this will be available to the community later this week,” he said.

Mr Free said with the recent easing of restrictions, water bubblers, showers and changerooms will be unavailable to ensure that all risks of infection are mitigated.

The Swan Hill Leisure Centre will continue to monitor government and industry guidelines to ensure that the facility remains safe for its staff and members over the coming months.
