The Greenpatch camping ground in Gordonvale will fully reopen tomorrow (Saturday 17 April).
The free camping ground, which is on the banks of the Mulgrave River, has been partially closed since January due to the increased risk of flash flooding during the wet season.
The maximum stay at this campground is 72 hours.
