Grievous bodily harm appeal, Burleigh Heads 21 September

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with investigations into an alleged assault that occurred in Burleigh Heads in April.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 10.30pm on Friday, April 21, a 17-year-old Palm Beach boy was seriously injured during a grievous bodily harm incident outside a Central Drive business.

He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to their ongoing investigation.

He is described as 19-years-old, Caucasian in appearance, approximately 185cm tall, with a proportionate build, short dark hair, and brown eyes.

Police urge anyone who recognises the man, or has information regarding his whereabouts, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
