Detectives from the Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged three boys following investigations into the grievous bodily harm of a 14-year-old boy at Kingston on 14 August.
Police will allege that around 9am Friday, the 14-year-old boy was on Juers Street when he was approached and assaulted by a group of young people, who left the area prior to police and emergency services arriving.
The 14-year-old boy was transported to hospital with serious facial and head injuries.
Detectives commenced investigations and today, 19 August, charged an 11-year-old Woodridge boy with 12 offences, including eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of grievous bodily harm, as well as other offences.
He was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
A 14-year-old Woodridge boy and a 17-year-old Logan Central boy were both charged with 11 offences, including eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count each of grievous bodily harm whilst armed/in company, as well as other offences.
Both were dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
