We are seeking stakeholder views and inviting public submissions on the exposure draft for the remake of the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Environment) Regulations 2009 (Environment Regulations).
The Environment Regulations will be remade in 2022 without substantive policy changes. Minor technical amendments have been made to modernise the provisions and their language to align with current practice. These amendments include the restructuring and renumbering of the provisions.
Submissions will be considered as part of the process to finalise the remake of the Environment Regulations.
