Help shape new vision for Australia’s health

Australian Medical Association

We’re asking AMA members to tell us their priorities for health in Australia.

The Australian Medical Association’s Vision for Australia’s Health (launched in 2021) included initiatives to address issues in general practice, public hospitals, private health and public health, as well as the health system more broadly.

While many of the priorities detailed in that vision have been achieved, Australia’s health system is facing health workforce shortages, increasing demand, the rising cost of providing healthcare, evolving technologies, and the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AMA is seeking input from doctors across Australia on the challenges you are facing, to inform what we advocate for in the coming years and the next iteration of the vision.

This survey – the first of many opportunities for AMA members to input on the vision – takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. By taking part in the survey, you have the chance to win1 a free ticket to AMA24 (the AMA’s National Conference), taking place from 2-4 August 2024 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, valued at $1,158.30 (including GST).

Thank you for taking part in our survey. The survey will be open until 31 January 2024.
