Help sought after woman sexually touched, NSW

Investigators have released CCTV and are appealing for community assistance after a woman was sexually touched in Sydney’s south west last month.

Police have been told about 7.40pm on Friday 8 May 2020, a 32-year-old woman got off a train at Wiley Park Railway Station and was walking down King Georges Road, when she was followed by an unknown man who sexually touched her.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified and, following inquiries, it was revealed the man had committed a sexual act on the train before he followed the woman.

As part of their investigation, detectives would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, between 160cm – 165cm tall, with shoulder-length black hair and a black beard.

He is depicted wearing a grey button-up shirt, jeans and sandals.
