Police have charged a 48-year-old man with drug trafficking, following the seizure of a significant amount of methylampetamine (ICE) at his home in Hobart yesterday.
The drugs were located in a planned search operation, alongside a quantity of cash and an imitation firearm.
The amount of ICE seized had the potential to put hundreds of people in our community at risk.
He has been charged with trafficking in controlled substance, dealing with proceeds of crime, and firearm offences and will appear in court today.
