Homelessness can affect anyone young or old, singles or families, people on benefits or key workers in low paying jobs. We need a plan to end homelessness.

Between 1 – 7 August Homelessness Week will raise national awareness of more than 116,000 people experiencing homelessness on any given night.

Rising rents and property values mean a growing number of local residents are homeless or are at serious risk of becoming homeless on our Peninsula. This includes many elderly residents. Women and children are also disproportionally affected, often due to family violence.

Our Peninsula needs nearly 3,000 homes just to meet the demand This is not just a statistic; this is 2,934 people desperately in need of a home.

We’re working hard to help our community.
