Gold Coast Detectives have commenced a homicide investigation following a death at Varsity Lakes earlier this evening.
Police were called to Frascott Park just before 5:40pm following reports a person had been stabbed.
Emergency services attended however a male aged in his late teens was declared deceased at the scene.
A crime scene has been established and investigators are appealing for anyone who was in the area around Frascott Park between 5pm and 6pm to contact police.
Investigators are also appealing with anyone with dash cam or CCTV vision in the area to contact police.
