How I Met my Dead Husband

Joining forces to create a funeral cabaret!

For the first time, local award winning theatre company Wit Incorporated is collaborating with the Bowery Theatre to present an off-the-wall show that was conceived and will premiere in the West.

How I Met My Dead Husband is about a unique cabaret funeral that goes on a journey of reincarnation, love, confusion and hope.

In the show Chuen-Jiau’s eulogy for her husband Yueh is not what anyone was expecting.

Written by Lansy Feng, this is the first of several productions Wit Incorporated and the Bowery Theatre will present over the coming months.

The partnership is designed to promote the creation and presentation of entertaining theatre in Melbourne’s West, before it tours more widely.

Hosted by the Bowery Theatre and performed in English, this wonderful performance will also include songs in English, French and Mandarin.

This production includes mentions of death and mild coarse language.

The Bowery Theatre is proudly owned and operated by Brimbank City Council.
