Hunt For Dangerous Driver In Melbourne’s West

Police are searching for a vehicle with cloned plates involved in two evades and a pursuit across Melbourne’s west in August last year.

Officers spotted the vehicle and attempted to intercept it on the Calder Freeway in Keilor Park about 10pm on 25 August.

Police initiated a pursuit as the driver sped off towards Westfield Drive travelling at speeds of up to 150km/h.

The offending vehicle turned onto Carrick Drive before driving onto the wrong side of a single-lane road, fleeing the scene.

The same vehicle is also wanted for two evades across Airport West and Fawkner in August and October.

Detectives have released images they believe may be able to assist with their investigations.

The vehicle is described as a white Holden commodore with three distinctive marks below the front headlight bearing cloned registration plates 1WI3LO.

The sedan was last seen travelling along Westfield Drive in Airport West on 2 October.

The driver of the vehicle is perceived as having a medium build with brown eyes and a brown beard.

He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black tracksuit pants and black and white runners.
