Images issued after cash stolen from car in Lansvale

Fairfield City Police Area Command have issued images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries after cash was stolen from a car in a hotel carpark at Lansvale last week

Between 12.15pm and 1pm Wednesday 4 December 2019, a man smashed a window of a Mercedes Benz 4WD which was parked unattended at the carpark of a hotel on the Hume Highway.

The incident was reported to police and an investigation commenced.

The owner of the car informed police that an amount of cash was stolen from the console.

The man depicted in the images is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, slim build with a long brown pony tail and a full beard. He was wearing a black “Nike” Brand jumper, black pants, and black shoes with a white sole.

Investigations are continuing.
