Investigators renew calls for information following alleged armed robbery – Central Coast

Investigators have renewed calls for information following an alleged armed robbery at Hamlyn Terrace in 2014.

About 10.30pm on Friday 29 August 2014, police have been told that a woman had parked a blue-coloured Hyundai Tiburon coupe on Minnesota Road, Hamlyn Terrace, when she was approached by two unknown men.

One of the men opened the car door before allegedly pointing a firearm at the woman, demanding bags and cash.

It is alleged the man took the woman’s handbag, and another bag, before allegedly fleeing the scene, running north along Minnesota Road.

Investigators have now released descriptions of the men they believe can assist with their inquiries.

One man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s at the time, with shoulder-length brown hair. He was wearing a green raincoat style jacket at the time.

The other is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s at the time, with a tall and skinny build.
