Kingston Council to bring parking enforcement in-house

The City of Kingston has decided to bring its parking enforcement service in-house, to ensure the community is getting the best service possible.

Parking enforcement in the City of Kingston has been contracted out to DCA (formerly known as Tenix Solutions) for more than 15 years.

The changes will take effect from mid-2020 with recruitment to be undertaken over the coming months. In the meantime, DCA will continue to provide parking enforcement services for the City of Kingston.

Kingston Mayor Georgina Oxley said the decision to bring the service in-house is about providing the best possible customer experience for Kingston residents.

“We want to make sure that if the community needs to contact us with parking enforcement issues we can be as responsive as possible,” said Cr Oxley.

“Council would like to thank DCA, and its staff, for its extensive service to Kingston.”
