The Victorian Government has released its annual Know Your Council results which sees Victorian councils benchmarked across key services, governance and financial performance indicators.
City of Casey Mayor, Cr Susan Serey said the Know Your Council results are independently assessed, providing greater transparency to our community on Casey’s performance.
“We are pleased that Casey has performed strongly in the key areas of financial performance, food safety, aquatic facilities and library services.
“Last year we made a number of changes to meet increased demand for Council services, with some of these changes already reflected in this year’s improved performance.
“As Casey is one of the fastest growing municipalities, demand for Council services is growing. We recognise the importance of keeping pace with this growth so we can continue offering quality services to our community,” Cr Serey said.
