Lake Alexander is re-open for swimming and other recreational water activities as of today, Wednesday 27 March 2024.
The lake was closed yesterday afternoon following an unconfirmed report of a suspected sighting of a crocodile.
NT Parks and Wildlife’s Crocodile Management Team conducted a survey of Lake Alexander last night and have advised this morning that they did not observe nor detect any sign of a crocodile.
