In the 2021-22 ACT Budget, the ACT Government announced a $4.5M investment for the revitalisation of the Lake Tuggeranong Foreshore.

As a result, ACT Greens Member for Brindabella Johnathan Davis MLA launched a survey seeking community feedback. Today, Mr Davis has released the ‘Listening Report‘ resulting from his survey which received more than 430 responses.

“4.5 million dollars is a lot of money. It’s my job as a local member to ensure that money is spent wisely to best meet the expectations of my community” Mr Davis said.

“Lake Tuggeranong is the jewel in the crown of Tuggeranong and the community are keen to ensure this opportunity for revitalisation isn’t wasted” Mr Davis said.

“The people of Tuggeranong deserve high quality amenities and facilities. As a local member, I strive to be a strong voice to Government on behalf of my community. This listening report is another way of getting the Tuggeranong community’s voices into government decision making. I am really proud to facilitate that.”

The report has been provided to Chris Steel MLA as the Minister for Transport and City Services. The full report can be found here.
