Experience the park in a whole new way as we open after hours, allowing families and friends to explore the park while enjoying a breathtaking light show over Anniversary Lake. The park’s beautiful amphitheatre will host the main show, but you can watch it from anywhere around the lake, providing an unparalleled view of the stunning display. There will also be creative light installations around the grounds to enjoy.
We are showcasing this breathtaking laser light show with the help and expertise of Genius Laser Technology, an innovative Melbourne-based laser show production company responsible for lighting up the City of Melbourne in an amazing New Year’s Eve 2023 event, plus many concerts and festivals.
As you take in the amazing visuals, you can indulge in tasty winter treats that will be available for purchase, making the night even more special. Rain or shine, this unique new event will go ahead – and in fact, laser lights bouncing off the rain only adds to the mesmerising spectacle!
City of Casey Chair of Administrators, Noelene Duff PSM said that this brand new, large-scale event on the Casey calendar looks set to light up the darkest nights of winter to dazzling effect.
“What better way to celebrate the park’s recent achievement of winning Park of the Year than to attend Botanic by Night and experience its beauty firsthand? With gates opening each night from 5.30 pm and a laser light show happening every hour until 8.30 pm, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the park and everything it has to offer,” Ms Duff said.
The event runs over two weekends, June 23 – 25 and June 29 – July 1, 2023. Tickets go on sale on May 8, so make sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on this unforgettable event.
