Lighting of Christmas Tree

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas – and it wouldn’t be Christmas in the Borough without our famous tree lighting.

Come along to Point Lonsdale Primary School Hall on the 2nd of December. Community carols begin at 7.30 pm (with a special guest appearance from the big man himself, Santa) with the lights going on at 8.30 pm.

With a BBQ provided by the Queenscliff Fire Brigade and food vans available, all you need to bring is a picnic rug and the whole family for a fun and festive time. If the weather is inclement, the event will be moved inside to the school hall – rain, hail or shine, the lights will go on.
