The Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC) is cranking up the volume next month, with Spring Live, a night of live music for young people, taking over the courtyard.
Four regional bands, Sun Lotus, Aarien Ophelia, Day Release and Black Static, will take to the stage, delivering a night of outstanding local live music.
Manager Arts and Culture Rebecca Walker said Spring Live gives emerging musicians a platform to perform while creating a welcoming space for 16 to 25-year-olds to connect with each other though live music.
“Our local music scene is full of incredible young talent, and Spring Live is a chance to put that talent front and centre.
“We’ve got a great lineup of local bands, and the event gives young people the chance to catch up with friends and enjoy some live music,” Ms Walker said.
The event is designed as a safe, relaxed space for people aged 16 to 25 to socialise, with WPCC staff on site throughout the evening to help everyone feel welcome.
“Parents and guardians can be confident that our team will be there to make sure everyone is safe and having a great time.
“Whether you’re there for the music or to spend time with friends, Spring Live is a chance to get together and enjoy what our local talent has to offer,” Ms Walker said.
Spring Live will be held on Saturday 14 November, with gates opening at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.
Tickets are $11 and can be purchased by visiting 123Tix.
Spring Live is delivered in partnership with Macquarie Conservatorium. This event is proudly funded with support from Create NSW.
This is an alcohol-free, smoke-free and vape-free event.
