AlburyCity is excited to announce that Carols by Candlelight will be back at QEII Square from 6pm on Wednesday 20 December 2023, with applications for vocal auditions now open.
The annual event is the perfect opportunity for the community to gather their family and friends, bring a picnic blanket or chair, and sing their heart out to their favourite carols, all while indulging on delicious food prepared by Eat Street. There will even be a visit from the jolly fella himself, Santa Claus!
Last year the 7,000 strong crowd were amazed by performances from talented local vocalists, and now AlburyCity is on the hunt for performers for this year’s event.
Live vocal auditions are being held on Saturday 28 October at the Albury Entertainment Centre, with applications closing Tuesday 10 October.
AlburyCity Mayor Kylie King said “This is another great opportunity for our local vocalists to take part in this special annual event and share their talents with the people of Albury.”
“We’re looking for solo vocalists, duos, vocal troupes and choirs, so make sure you jump onto our website to apply.”
