State Government restriction announcements have made a splash on the Peninsula, allowing Crib Point Pool to re-open from Saturday 24 October just in time for the warmer weather.

Locals will be diving into summer with Metropolitan Melbourne COVID-19 restrictions being eased to allow those within a 25km radius of the facility to use the pool for physical exercise.

Upon re-opening, a COVID-19 Safe Plan will be actioned, and health and safety changes will be made at the centre to ensure the wellbeing of members and staff.

The pool will open with expanded operating hours, limited patron numbers and a booking system to help locals avoid disappointment.

The expanded operating hours are:

  • Monday to Friday: 6.30am – 10.30am
  • Saturday: 8am – 12pm
  • Sunday: 8am – 12pm

Ahead of this announcement, Belgravia Leisure staff have been busy, draining, filling, cleaning and preparing the pools and centre for the re-start of programs.

The Belgravia Leisure team ensure a high standard of environmental cleaning and will provide hand sanitation stations around the centre as well as maintain 1.5m social distancing measures and cashless payments.
