Locals encouraged to Stay, Play and Save at Perth hotels

  • $200 off a mid-week hotel stay on offer for Western Australians
  • Promotion supports accommodation sector in the Perth region
  • There is even more reason for Western Australians to stay and play in Perth, with a $200 discount being offered at up to 80 hotels throughout Perth, including in the Swan Valley, Fremantle, Scarborough and Rockingham.

The State Government, through Tourism Western Australia, has launched Stay, Play and Save – a mid-week promotion to give a boost to city hotels hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The discount is available when your package is worth at least $400, on a minimum two-night stay, Sunday to Thursday inclusive. Bookings can be made from this Friday, January 29 until February 19 with travel up until the end of April.

Participating hotels are appealing to a range of guests including city workers, regional visitors, families looking for an affordable getaway and seniors searching for a stop on their next road trip.

As part of the campaign, some of the deals include all-inclusive packages, discounts for four-night stays, dinner vouchers and free parking.

The newly revamped Parmelia Hilton Hotel is offering two nights in a king room, with complimentary breakfast and parking, wine on arrival for $549. With the discount, Western Australians will only pay $349.

Other hotels that will participate include the Duxton Hotel, COMO The Treasury, Esplanade Hotel Fremantle, Quality Resort Sorrento Beach and the Colony at Mandoon Estate. A full list of all participating hotels will be available on Friday, January 29 by visiting https://www.experienceperth.com/stayplaysave

As stated by Tourism Minister Paul Papalia:

“There’s so much happening in the city over the next few months, with the Fringe and Perth festivals bringing plenty of entertainment, it’s a great excuse for a mid-week stay in the CBD.

“We know Perth hotels have been doing it tough and they need our support, particularly throughout the week when they’d normally be attracting international business travellers, this is why the McGowan Government has introduced this initiative.

“With a $200 discount and a diverse range of hotels offering value-packed deals to choose from, I encourage everyone to make the most of this opportunity.”
