Love My Place winners enliven our public space

City of Port Phillip
Our Love My Place winners kick off the New Year injecting even more colour, creativity and energy into our City.

We have already seen Peanut Butter Jam Roller Events ignite Peanut Farm in St Kilda with colour and creativity on roller skates. On Saturday 22 January, they’re back with their Freestyle Festival from 11 am to 9 pm for a day that celebrates fun, community and the joy of movement. The line up has something for everyone:

  • Roller Dance Battle with Marawa
  • Roller Disco
  • Aggressive Inline + Quad Demo
  • Family Zone
  • Kids Talent Show
  • Workshops roller, yoga, dance

Gasworks Arts Park will be the venue for Sounds on the Terrace, a weekly event providing live, family friendly, acoustic music from Thursday 20 January.

Making Sounds on the Terrace part of your regular Friday routine this summer is a great way to unwind after a busy week and enjoy the outdoors in beautiful local surroundings

Food trucks rotate each week providing audiences with dinner options. Join us for food, grab a drink from the Gasworks Bar, and listen to music on the terrace. This event provides opportunities for the local community to support live music in a relaxed, outdoor environment. Every Friday night during summer, 5 pm – 8.30 pm.
