Major Crime and Barossa CIB search Kudla address

Major Crime and Barossa CIB detectives are currently at an address in Kudla conducting a search in relation to a current missing person from the Northern suburbs.

Major Crime and Barossa CIB attended at the address last night just after 6pm, after receiving information relating to the address. Police conducted a search of the premises and allegedly located 20 cannabis plants being hydroponically grown in a rear shed. Police also located a .22 rifle and .22 ammunition which were insecurely being stored.

Barossa CIB members arrested a 45-year-old man from the address for possess a firearm without a licence, possess an unregistered firearm, possess ammunition, cultivate a commercial quantity of a controlled plant and possess prescribed equipment.

The man was refused bail and is expected to front the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.

The investigation in relation to the missing person is continuing.
