Man arrested after NSW Ambulance paramedic stabbed – Campbelltown

A man has been arrested after a NSW Ambulance paramedic was stabbed in Campbelltown this morning.

About 5.30am (Friday 14 April 2023) officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command were called to a fast food restaurant on Queen Street.

On arrival, the male paramedic was treated at the scene and taken to Liverpool Hospital.

A man was arrested at the scene and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he is currently assisting police with inquiries.

A crime scene has been established, which will be forensically examined by specialist officers. Members of hte public are urged to avoid the area.
