Police are investigating an alleged home invasion in Sydney’s west.
About 10pm yesterday (Sunday 6 September 2026), emergency services responded to reports of a home invasion at a unit in Fairfield Road, Guildford West.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 42-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman at the scene before both were taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have been informed that about eight men forced entry to the home through the front door and assaulted the male and female before leaving the location in two separate vehicles.
The vehicles have been described as a black 4WD and a white dual cab utility.
Both vehicles were last seen travelling north along Fairfield Road.
The incident is believed to be targeted.
