On Saturday 23 March 2024, detectives from the Sex Assault Squad charged a man as a result of their investigation into the alleged indecent assault of a resident of an aged care home in Perth’s western suburbs.
It will be alleged on Friday 22 March 2024, a staff member indecently assaulted a vulnerable resident of the aged care facility, aged in their 80s.
The 27-year-old man from Marangaroo has been charged with:
• Three counts of Indecently Dealt with Incapable Person.
The accused was remanded in custody and is next due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 2 April 2024.
It is believed the charged man is employed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and works at other aged care facilities in the metropolitan area.
