Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire which occurred in Mooroopna this morning.
Emergency services were called to an address in Lenne Street about 8.15am on 2 September after reports a house was on fire.
Fire crews attempted to extinguish the blaze and a man and a woman were located at the property and treated by paramedics.
The man died at the scene and the woman has been taken to hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the fire are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
