Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Lalor this evening.
Emergency services were called to Childs Road about 7.25pm after reports a man had been hit by a car while crossing the road.
On attendance police found a man in his late teens suffering life threatening injuries.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene but could not be saved.
The driver of the car is currently assisting police with enquires.
