Man stabbed at Davoren Park, South Australia

A Semaphore Park man is being treated in the Royal Adelaide Hospital after he was stabbed in the leg overnight at Davoren Park.

Just before 11.30pm on Friday 21 August, police and ambulance crews were called to a licensed premises on Peachey Road following reports of a man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The injured man was located nearby on Stormore Street with a wound to his right leg that was consistent with being stabbed and not shot.

Northern District Police were able to establish the injured man was dropped off in the area by a small red vehicle.

The 25-year-old man who was not cooperative with police was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital treatment for the lacerations to the leg and a also a cut to head, his condition is not life threatening.

Police investigations have led them to a nearby home in Cockshell Street Davoren Park where police have established a crime scene and have door-knocked the area.

A small red car has also being located and seized by police for forensic testing
