MEDIA ADVISORY: Class 351 Attestation Parade, NSW

The NSW Police Force will welcome its newest recruits from Class 351 at an Attestation Parade today.

Chief Commissioner Karen Webb APM will swear-in 193 new probationary constables at her first attestation ceremony as Police Chief. She will be joined by Deputy Premier Paul Toole and Governor of NSW Her Excellency, The Honourable Margaret Beazley.

WHAT: Attestation – Class 351

WHEN: 9am TODAY (Friday 4 March 2022)

WHERE: NSW Police Academy, Goulburn

A multi-camera live feed will be available to media along with an option of filming from a fixed position on the parade ground.

ACCREDITATION:

Media must bring photographic identification. Identification is required to gain entry and anyone not on the registration list will not be permitted access.

DRESS STANDARD:

A minimum dress standard applies for any media seeking access to the parade ground.

MEETING TIME AND PLACE:

Confirmed registered media must arrive at 8am on Friday and meet at reception for a briefing before being security screened and escorted into position. Please note for security reasons if you arrive late you may not be granted access to the parade ground. A briefing will be held for media at 8.30am; the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9am.
