Miki City Memorabilia Display celebrates a 26 Year relationship

The Miki City Memorabilia Display will be on show at the Corowa Art Space from Friday 11 August until Sunday 3 September, 2023.

Federation Council Mayor, Cr Patrick Bourke said, Federation Council is inviting residents and visitors to see the exhibition and explore the 26 year relationship between Federation Council, Australia and Miki City, Japan.

“The Miki City Memorabilia Display will showcase mementos and artefacts from students and community members who have participated in the Miki City and Federation Council Sister City Exchange Program. Items include gifts presented to Federation Council, artworks, photos, ceramics and examples of the agricultural, hardware and blacksmithing industries which flourish within Miki City.”

“The exhibition coincides with the arrival of students, chaperones and dignitaries from Miki City who will be staying in our region in August,” he said.

Entry to the Miki City Memorabilia Display is free. Open Wednesday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm, Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm at Corowa Art Space in the Corowa Civic Centre.
