A woman reported missing from Stroud has been located safe.
The 62-year-old was last seen on Memorial Avenue, Stroud, about 2pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 February 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Port Stephens – Hunter Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police subsequently issued a public appeal for information and conducted a search at Stroud.
About 10.20am today (Wednesday 7 February 2024), the woman was located safe at Booral.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
