A man has been charged with murder following an incident in the State’s Far North on Saturday.
Just after 8.30pm Saturday 21 August police were called to the Ernabella Clinic in Pukatja, after reports a man had presented with stab wounds.
The 19-year-old Far North man was flown to the Alice Springs Hospital in a critical condition, but sadly, on Sunday 22 he died of his injuries.
On Sunday 22 August following an investigation, Far North CIB arrested a 39-year-old Osborne man at Pukatja and charged him with murder. The suspect is known to the victim.
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court today.
