Additional charges have been laid following the death of a woman after a brawl at Warrawong last month.
Emergency services were called to Wegit Way, Warrawong, about 6.30pm on Wednesday 22 November 2023, following reports of a brawl.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District found a 39-year-old woman with stab wounds. She was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where she later died.
Strike Force Galmarra was formed to investigate the incident.
Seven people – six juveniles and a 37-year-old woman – have been charged in relation to the incident, they remain before the courts.
As part of ongoing inquiries, a 15-year-old girl has been charged with an additional offence of murder.
She remains remanded in custody and is next due to appear at a children’s court on Tuesday 12th December 2023.
