Police can now release the name of the 6-year-old boy who died in Havelock, Marlborough on Tuesday 8 October.
He was Nekko Paul Harworth of Richmond, Nelson.
Police extend our sympathies to Nekko’s family.
His death has been referred to the Coroner.
