New administration facilities unveiled at Serpentine Primary School

  • Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery today officially opened the new administration building at Serpentine Primary School.

    The $1.1 million facility includes dedicated spaces for school administration staff, offices, interview rooms and a welcoming reception area for parents and visitors.

    It has been designed to blend seamlessly with existing buildings and local surrounds, and will serve as the first point of contact for families and visitors.

    School staff will benefit from a modern space to provide an outstanding service to the school community.

    The school boasts outstanding physical education, arts and science programs to support students through their education and ensure they achieve success.

    More than 160 students are enrolled at the school from Kindergarten to Year 6, with numbers set to increase.

    As stated by Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery:

    “This is a fine example of how we are modernising and making schools better across WA.

    “I know local families will feel warmly welcomed when they visit the new administration building at Serpentine Primary School.”

    As stated by Darling Range MLA Hugh Jones:

    “I am really committed to ensuring our community has access to top quality public education facilities.

    “Serpentine Primary is a great school and these improvements will only enhance the offering for students and their parents.”
