New RADF appointments confirmed

Patty Preece and Russell Milledge have been appointed to the Regional Arts Development Fund committee.

Ms Preece’s appointment to the music portfolio follows the departure of Keesha McLean, who recently completed a four-year term with the RADF committee.

Experienced in the production and presentation of music and multi-media projects, Ms Preece has held previous roles as a music workshop facilitator, sound engineer, producer, Vocational Education and Training teacher of Diploma of Sound and is currently a lecturer at School of Education and the Arts CQUniversity.

Mr Milledge, who has been appointed to the multi-media portfolio, is a Doctor of Philosophy in Creative Arts and has completed a Master of Fine Arts degree.

He has previously collaborated on projects with key arts and cultural organisations in Cairns and has experience in the peer assessment process through Australia Council.

Both Ms Preece and Mr Milledge have been appointed for a maximum term of four years, with an option to stand down after two years.
