I am pleased to announce that Tim Gardner has been appointed as the new Chair of the TasTAFE Board, to commence from 30 November 2021.
Tim is currently a Director on the TasTAFE Board and is a highly qualified professional and I look forward to continuing to work with him.
He brings extensive experience across a range of leadership, management and strategic development roles, including as the Chair of Stornoway and as Chair of the Metro Tasmania Board.
Tim has a strong background in workforce development and training, and shares my passion for maximising the opportunities TasTAFE can provide for Tasmanians to get the skills and training they need.
Tim takes over from Mike Blake, who has made an outstanding contribution to TasTAFE since joining the Board in 2017.
I want to thank Mike for his professional approach and for providing stable leadership for TasTAFE throughout his tenure.
