NSW police appeal after nine firearms stolen near Bourke

Police have released images of two men who may be able to assist with an investigation into firearms that were stolen from a home in the state’s north-west last month.

Between Tuesday 10 March and Friday 13 March 2020, nine firearms were reported stolen from a rural property on Bourke-Milparinka Road, Goonery Station, about 90km from Bourke.

Officers attached to Central North Police District attended and commenced an investigation.

Police believe the items were stolen from a gun safe and included a side by side double barrel shotgun, seven rifles and a single barrel shotgun.

Investigators have released COMFIT images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man is described as being Caucasian appearance, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance with light brown hair and brown eyes.
