NSW police appeal to locate Broken Hill woman, believed to be travelling with children

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Broken Hill, who is believed to be travelling with her two children.

Larissa Krebs – aged 42 – was last seen on Thursday 9 December 2021 at her home on Blende Street, Broken Hill.

When Larissa could not be located, officers attached to Barrier Police District were notified earlier this week (Wednesday, 5 January 2022), and commenced investigations into her whereabouts.

Concerns are held for Larissa’s welfare as she is believed to be travelling with her two children – aged 6 and 8 – and requires medical care.

Larissa is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm – 165cm tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion and blonde hair.

Inquiries have led police to believe Larissa and her children may be in Queensland, with reports received she may have visited Toowoomba and Mt Isa in late December and earlier this month.

Anyone with information on Larissa’s whereabouts is urged to come forward and contact Broken Hill Police Station on (08) 8087 0299 or Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
