A man has died following a fatal single-vehicle crash in the state’s Orana region yesterday.
Just before 10.30pm (Saturday 5 December 2020), council workers who were clearing debris from the roadway alerted emergency services after driving upon a vehicle that had crashed on Gollan Road near Binginbar Road, Gollan, about 48km east of Dubbo.
The body of a man was located at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
