NSW police charge man for firearms and domestic violence offences- Lidcombe

A man has been charged with firearms and domestic violence offences at Lidcombe.

About 11.30am yesterday (15 March 2020), officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended Neville Street, Lidcombe after a woman with her six children were allegedly threatened by a man.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the property and taken to Auburn Police Station.

He was charged possess unauthorised pistol, armed with intent to cause indictable offence, intimidation intend to cause fear physical harm – domestic violence, enter land with firearm or imitation supply indictable quantity of prohibited drug, possess unauthorised pistol, possess unregistered firearm pistol or imitation and resist officer in execution of duty.

The man was formally refused bail. He will appear at Burwood Local Court today (Monday 16 March 2020).
